Below is the a bit of info about my Golf Art Prints

I had never really considered doing a golf painting until I was approached by the Golf Pro at the Tanglewood Golf Course in Clemmons, North Carolina. It was early in the summer of 1992, when I was contacted and ask to do a painting and prints of their signature hole number fourteen. They wanted the painting and prints done in time for the fall Vantage Championship Seniors golf competition. When the painting was finished the folks at Tanglewood and RJR, the sponsors of the championship, were so pleased with it that they asked to bowwow it. They wanted to send it to California to have limited edition white golf bags embroidered with the image of my painting on them. I was so proud. An image of the golf bag that was given to me that fall is on the page describing the the print. It’s name is “The Stone Bridge.” For the next two years, I worked with these folks and did two more paintings and prints of holes at the Tanglewood course. They were called “The 18th Hole at Tanglewood” and “The Twelfth Hole at Tanglewood.”

A couple of years after doing the Tanglewood prints, I was approached by the people at the Yadkin Country club here in my county and ask to do a painting and prints of their course. They chauffeured me around the course and left the decision as to which green to paint to me. I chose the the seventeenth hole. It is represented in the golf print called “On the Green.” I hope you will take the time to check out all four of my golf art prints that I have available.

As always, all of my prints have a story. I hope you will take the time to read each one. I love to hear when folks tell me which prints and stories are their favorites.
